What we do...
Established in 2022, our vision is to unite the Veteran Community in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas, including Regimental Associations, Military Charities, and other relevant agencies. Our goal is to enhance support for local Veterans and their families.
We organise and run a range of events and social gatherings, including Eastbourne Armed Forces Day, a fortnightly breakfast club, music and quiz nights, and various outings. We offer support for individuals dealing with PTSD and other mental health issues, as well as provide opportunities for collaboration on community projects.
How we help...
- Cultivating an environment that fosters physical, mental and emotional well-being helping to improve quality of life
- Promoting self-help and problem solving
- Helping veterans to integrate into the civilian community by getting involved in volunteering projects which reduces feelings of isolation and promotes a sense of belonging
- Providing support with well-being and coping mechanisms
- Tailoring our help to the individual Veterans needs
Armed Forces Day
The UK Armed Forces work around the clock to protect our way of life and defend UK interests at home and abroad. Armed Forces Day is our chance to say THANK YOU – so join us for this annual event on the last Saturday in June.
We welcome new members
If you would like to get involved with Eastbourne and District Veterans CIC then give us a call for more information or come along and meet us at our Breakfast Club – we look forward to welcoming you!
Working with and supported by Eastbourne Branch of the Royal British Legion.
